Beauty and the Bestie is about the sudden twist of fate in the life of Erika (Vice Ganda), a photographer who was asked a favor by an ex-bestfriend who happened to be a secret agent (Martin) to pretend and to temporarily replace the kidnapped daughter (that looks exactly like her) of a leader of a communist country that joined in an international beauty pageant held in this country. The whole movie was a typical Vice Ganda movie that we had already seen several times. The humor was almost the same as his other movies, although, this time it was added with an even more action packed scenes as Coco Martin plays the role of Vice's ex-bestfriend in the movie. Also the love team of James and Nadine added colors to the entire film.
